Our Story - How we met

It all started when Reshma first moved to Auckland for work back in 2014! It seems the workplace can be better than a dating app and this is true in the case of Jesse and Reshma.

What started as a friendship blossomed into a romance, now 8 years on we’re best friends, true loves and totally inseparable!

We’re finally ready to make it official and we would love for you to be part of our special day.

The Proposal

It all started months before with a winter holiday being planned where Jesse saw the perfect opportunity to finally propose. A beautiful ring was custom designed months in advance, all in anticipation for the big moment.

After weeks of googling ‘best proposal spots in Queenstown’ Jesse figured he would stash the ring in his pocket and just wing it! Whilst on a casual drive up the Nevis Mountain range, Resh spotted a photo op and Jesse had his chance to propose.

While she thought she was striking a pose with the backdrop of snowbound landscapes in Central Otago, without a soul in sight Jesse got down on one knee and the rest is history!

Our Wedding Program

A TRADITIONAL NEW ZEALAND WEDDING TIMELINE

Church Ceremony

PLEASE JOIN US, FOR OUR WEDDING CEREMONY

St. Benedicts Catholic Church at Eden Terrace, Auckland. We invite Friends and family to witness our sacrament of marriage and give us your blessings.

We have an experienced photographer capturing our day so kindly request an unplugged ceremony. We will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding!

Reception

Immediately following the Ceremony, the guests will travel to the reception Venue at the Allely Estate. Guests are invited to treat themselves to champagne and Canapes while awaiting the arrival of the bridal party.

After the guests are seated for Dinner, the bridal party will make a grand entrance with quick introductions, Wedding Speeches and a toast. A beautiful buffet dinner service will commence while the speeches are underway.

Reshma and Jesse will kick off the dancing, with their first dance, with all guests joining in to shake a leg and party through the night.

We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. While we encourage you to dress to impress in your best cocktail attire! Our wedding reception will likely take place on the lawn – please bear this in mind when choosing footwear. We do recommend a jacket in case there is a cool breeze. Due to Venue restrictions guests will be by invite only. The Allely estate is a beautiful garden venue in the picturesque town of Kumeu, just 20 minutes from central Auckland.

We want you to celebrate with us
